Bronze Statue of Taki Rentaroタキレンタロウ

Sculptor Asakura Fumio who was the schoolmate with Taki Rentaro at Upper Elementary School in Naoiri district produced this bronze statue in 1950. While Asakura Fumio thought of his memory of 57 years before, he created this. It finds this thing from the epitaph that was carved in the backside of the bronze statue that stands at the intermediate outworks of Oka castle.

It is you who were permitted to play the organ at the hall for ceremonies of the school. It is you who played the bamboo clarinet in a mountain behind of the school and impressed all students. It was cadence which I can't forget that I heard that a sound of Inaba river's shallow's stream and a sound of the instruments resonated in harmony.・・・・
